Sunday Morning Worship
Every Sunday morning, we gather together to celebrate. There is something for everyone, and the accepting atmosphere, friendliness, and relaxed pace will help you feel right at home. Join us 9:30 – 10:45am.

Food and Fellowship

Sunday mornings from 10:45 – 11:00am, is the time to grab that second cup of coffee or tea, enjoy healthy (or not so healthy, it’s your choice!) snacks, and connect with friends.

Conversations

Each Sunday mornings from 11:00 – 11:45am, following worship, groups meet to talk about their week and discuss the morning’s message. There are groups for men, for women, and a unique Family Class where parents and children learn how to talk about the spiritual life together.

Life Groups

Throughout the week, life groups meet in area homes for fellowship, study, and encouragement.

Serving Our Neighbors and Communities

The most important way the Avon Grove Church serves our community is through living out our faith everywhere we go - at home, work, school, and in relationships throughout the community. However, we also serve through several programs.

Avon Grove Nazarene Academy

One of the most well-regarded private schools in southern Chester County, provides preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, and after-school programs. The Bridge Compassionate Ministry Center

Serving our neighbors in need by providing food, clothing, household goods, referrals, and encouragement. Open every Tuesday evening, we serve 30-50 families a week and 500 different families from throughout the Avon Grove School District each year. While housed in our church and under our leadership, The Bridge is a combined effort of several area churches, community organizations, and individuals. Opportunities are available to sort clothes and prepare food boxes (Tuesday mornings 9am-12 noon); handing out food and clothing, providing homework help, and providing security and administrative assistance.

Avon Grove Teens

Avon Grove Teens reaches beyond our church to touch the lives of teens in our community. Under the leadership of youth pastor Jason McGehean and a dedicated staff, we are helping teens develop spiritually and socially as they learn to follow Christ and encourage one another. They meet each Wednesday 6:30 – 8:00pm.

Kingdom Kids

A fun and exciting way for kids ages 4-12 to learn God’s love through music, games, crafts, and story. Every Wednesday evening 6:30 – 8:00pm

The Garage Youth Center

The Garage Youth Center is a joint effort of the Avon Grove churches, community organizations, and individuals to serve our area teens as an after-school drop-in community center. Located in downtown West Grove at 122 Rose Hill Avenue near the West Grove library, volunteers are needed for tutoring, mentoring, and special events.
